[All Varients] Good/Evil monsters w/ supporting AI

Can someone tell me which variants, if any, include Good/Evil monsters with AI to support them fighting each other?

I noticed today while playing Vanilla, by using Detect Evil, that Priests (evil) are partying with Paladins in pits. Those paladins should also be detecting evil and clearing them out, not snuggling up swapping stories about their latest curse kills.

PosChengband certainly has examples of Evil monsters fighting Good monsters...a plenty.

So does ToME 2, and I seem to recall that FAAngband has neutral monsters (that just won't attack you unless you provoke them).

Monsters fighting each other tend not to work very well though. Monsters have way more health than players do, so they take a long time to kill each other; monsters that can summon also tend to fill the level with their summons. Not saying it can't be done well, just that it often isn't done well.

In any event, the fact that priests are evil and paladins aren't is kind of weird. Maybe paladins should be renamed to "Death Squires"?

Angband combat system is not suited well for monster fights, e.g. unangband have player's summons, but it works terrible.
