Unfortunately, there is no Win32 interface to windows modern font features (everything is C++ or .NET). Someone with time to kill could write a C signature shim interface, but otherwise, don't expect a lot new fonts for windows. Alternatively, there is freetype for MinGW (and cygwin.)
