Morgoth disappeared....

I evidently banished M from the dungeon... I have some memory of someone seeing a similar thing before?

I went down to DL100 and immediately recalled; stop at home to collect all my stockpiled consumables, rested a bunch to recharge some rods, then recall back to DL100. M shows up in due time, and shortly I read a ?*Destruction*... and he never comes back, and I wandered around the level enough to be pretty certain he's not on it anymore.

This is in 4.2.1 release version, not a nightly.

Recalling out of the Dungeon and then back down should bring Morgoth back right, since when you recall back down you generate a new level, and presumably puts Morgoth back where he's supposed to be.

I figured that might be the case, but wanted to grab a save before trying it in case that would be helpful to look at.

From past threads, if you destruct while Morgoth is in range of the destruction, he'll come back eventually, but it could be a long wait (long enough for him to get fully healed). The recommended strategy is to destruct before Morgoth gets to you or else teleport him away and then destruct so he is out of the destruct radius.
