Sil - knowledge base
I'm completely new to Angband but Sil was highly recommended and so far I'm really enjoying both the game play and the flavour.
Just got a character to 450' (a new record for me) and got lore-master for the first time. What struck me was that whilst it was great to get the exp and to know what things were, I was still rather in the dark about a lot of my inventory actually did. I knew I had a staff of sanctity but no idea what that meant. I got smashed to hell by a giant I couldn't escape from so it was sort of academic but I was wondering if there was any way to look up what things did? Thanks for the great game and any advice! |
