0 for command count works, but it does mean an extra keystroke. I agree that repeated 's' has greater effect. Same for repeated open door attempts.

This is a workaround, and I guess it might be old news, but running into a door (instead of walking into it) just picks it once instead of repeating it ... possibly 100+ times with a lowlevel dwarf paladin.
