Ladder feature requests

Two small things:

1) Could you please add on each dump page a link to the person who submitted the dump?
2) Some ability to search for dumps made by a particular person would also be nice.

1. What kind of a link you have in mind? Player's handle or email is displayed in the title line, and if the player have more than one dump on the ladder, the right column will have a link to a listing of all the dumps for that player.

2. Already there, just go to the Ladder tab and fill in the fifth field of the search form (the one labeled Player)

Just to hijack the thread, but it might be nice from time to time to be able to sort based on "winner" status.

Go to a ladder listing you're interested in, and select 'winners' in Order field in the form. See how you like that.

Its very nice, thank you. I do like the first winner in the vanilla ladder.

As long as we're here, is there any reason we can't sort by version. Sorting by date sorta accomplishes this, but not exactly.

Maybe the ability to toggle versions on/off would be better.

Four years with no feature requests? I have a suggestion, but I've no idea how difficult it would be to implement. Would it be possible to make earlier versions of a dump visible? Not in the ladder, of course, but linked from the most recent dump. Often the early comments on old dumps are baffling, because they refer to the state of the character at the time the comment was made, not the state reflected in the dump. Presumably the old versions aren't even in the database, but I think it would be helpful to keep them for future dumps.

I agree 100% with this request.

I'd love to have versioning available in the ladder. It would give insight into how winners survived earlier stages of the game.
