Level feeling of 3,9 at 100 feet

I have completed the map (I think) and used up 10 scrolls of treasure detection equally spaced throughout the map. I constantly 'pray' for stair/door detection. I have not found anything worthwhile so far. What should I do ? I'm thinking it is the phial of Galadriel that is hidden somewhere ?

At such a shallow depth, the treasure could be a good ego item, a deeper magic book, a decent armor, etc. Even a potion of experience. I've had that happen before. Instant CL 30. But it wasn't as great as it sounds. Stat drains were very hard to overcome.

Thanks, I decided to abandon, doubt it is worth going in circles

Was just scared that it is an artefact that I won't get again.

Unless you explicitly turned off preserve mode, artifacts can be generated multiple times. You only "lose" an artifact permanently if you find it, learn its name (by picking it up or identifying it), and then abandon it.

If you have an unidentified potion or scroll from this level, dont sell to id! It could be a !experience or ?banish or similar

Sometimes I have such level feelings and find nothing when playing a mage or priest from a past savefile. I toggle ignoring and immediately detect a deep priest/mage book that was automatically squelched.

Poltergeist picks up Power Dragon Scale Mail, and then proceeds to run away thru granite. Extremely slow chase ensues.

Ouch ! I just sold an unidentified scroll, it was *acquirement* ! Damn I was stupid. Can't buy it back, don't have enough money haha.

Acquirement with stars? That's rare even for deep deep levels.
