# of attacks question

Why am I only getting one attack with a dagger? I don't know exactly how multiple attacks are calculated but it seems like I should get 2 attacks with a dagger. I am a gnome ranger with 18 strength and 18 dexterity.

* ..so how are multiple attacks calculated? I know it uses strength and dexterity and is affected by class, but not more than that.

Number of attacks depends on class, weapon weight, STR and DEX.
For a ranger with a dagger I think either STR or DEX must be 18/10.
I think a warrior could get 2 with both at 18.

According to the calculation given in the spoiler you need at least 18/10 for either DEX or STR to get 2 blows with a dagger for a ranger.
