Hardly dead black, unless your screen is unusually dark. The dark mode is basically the old walls and floors and the light set is the new floors and walls. I'm not really a Shockbolt user, I just love the details. It's a shame the set occupies too much screen to be playable on my setup. Anyway, there is the gray version of the new set in the sheet, if you want to see if it's better. In my opinion it's a bit too close to the light set to be "dark set", but then again, I don't actually play with Shockbolt tiles. |

Did some quick testing with different floors for the dark mode and they look like this.
Original (current): New gray floor: New gray floor with same lit and dark: I think the second one is too bright, but the last one is more clear than the original, yet it still looks nice and gloomy. There are three shades for floor and in the definition there is "open floor:dark". When is that used? Or is it used at all? The last test above uses the following definition, which only uses two shades for the floor. Code:
feat:open floor:torch:0x99:0xEF feat:open floor:los:0x99:0xEF feat:open floor:lit:0x99:0xF0 feat:open floor:dark:0x99:0xF0 |

Do rings of damage not affect launchers? When I equip one I see the average damage change on my melee but not on my arrows.

Correct. Damage rings only affect direct blows. Accuracy, however, can be useful for launchers.

Documents directory, and the New and Open menu options are greyed out. The latest nightly says it's 4.2.0-362-gdde695d-dirty with a create/modify date of June 3 2020, install, and it works fine. |
