Resist Poison
Is it just me or does "Resist Poison" provide much more protection from gas breathers than say "Resist Fire" does from fire breathers?

Both provide 2/3 protection, but fire breath has a higher damage cap. Poison is capped at 800, so you can take 266 with resistance. Fire is capped at 1600, so you can take 533 (but double resistance will reduce that to 178). So yes, you will take more damage from fire if you have both resists and meet big monsters.
