I haven't been playing hc mode at all but have been reading/watching way to much about D3 since last summer when the beta started. I'm just glad my wife shares my enjoyment of the game! (She asked for the collectors edition as her birthday gift instead of our tradition of jewelry, she's a keeper I tell you)

Bastion is quite excellent, and if you haven't played it you really should. Of course, it's not much like Diablo either.

As of this writing, you still have a day to buy the Humble Bundle 5, which includes Bastion if you pay over the average (currently $8.46). Given that you'd also get Psychonauts, Braid, and Super Meat Boy, which I all vouch for as being good games (though SMB is a bit niche), it's a great value. I hear Amnesia is also good if you like horror games.

Unfortunately LIMBO is rather crap (it goes for horror + physics puzzles, but mostly just plays stupid tricks on the player), and I haven't been especially impressed by Superbrothers either. I haven't played Lone Survivor and thus cannot comment.

I am really interested to play the game though the lack of an offline mode makes it not as enjoyable as the second iteration that they had. Though, for those who are interested to play it online and across a number of players, that would be great to be able to start with.

Though it would really be interesting to play it as well. Any good experience with the game as a whole?

Depends what you mean by "as a whole". I've now got a pretty informed view of Normal mode - I've finished it with two classes and done most of it with the other three. But I'm barely halfway through Nightmare and have never tried Hell or Inferno. So I haven't any experience of the whole game in the sense of all the difficulty levels (and therefore all the items and monster capabilities).

But I was so underwhelmed I've gone back to WoW. I'll go back to D3 at some point, but until the 10-character limit is raised (probably in an expansion) I doubt I'll sink serious time into it - it's just too difficult to satisfy my muling OCD.
