Dumb question about object rarity
According to the object.txt file in Angband 3.2.0, "normal" (i.e. not artifact or ego) items all have a rarity value of 0. So how am I supposed to adjust the rarity of such items?

You should look at the A: line, not the W: line. The "depth" and "rarity" fields in the W: line are ignored, as far as I'm aware.

Ah, "commonness," makes sense. Duh.
Took me a minute to figure out how that worked though, because it says A:commonness:min " to max " If that means "min commonness to max commonness," it's wrong - it should be "min depth to max depth." |
