Rare is the game where I dont find some +3 blow randart weapon, but even rarer is the game where I actually end up using it. Late game melee damage is dominated by damage dice (and slays/brands), not extra blows.

I've found some nice weapons, but I don't think I've yet to find a randart with +3 attacks, let alone one that also had other useful abilities on it. This is the best I've managed in recent memory:
Code:
The Pike of Elwen (6d5) (+12,+14) [+13] <+5> Dropped by a Marilith at 3950 feet (level 79). +5 strength, dexterity, charisma, tunneling. Slays evil creatures, demons, trolls. *Slays* undead. Branded with lightning, venom. Provides immunity to lightning. Provides resistance to cold, chaos. Cannot be harmed by acid, electricity, fire, cold. Speeds regeneration. Grants the ability to see invisible things. When activated, it hastens you for 2d10+20 turns. Takes 319 to 390 turns to recharge at your current speed. Your chance of success is 94.5% Combat info: 5.0 blows/round. Average damage/round: 491.5 vs. evil creatures, 598 vs. demons, 598 vs. trolls, 598 vs. creatures not resistant to electricity, 598 vs. creatures not resistant to poison, 810 vs. undead, and 385.5 vs. others. |
