Buying out stores

Back in the day, I used to buy out the temple regularly for CCW, often as a cure for status attacks. In recent fights with Feagwayh and Gothmog, I ended p needing more than expected, and am now reduced to scumming weak monsters for consumables...at dl 96. The 350k gold I have is essentially worthless. Please bring this feature back!

Or the ability to put in special orders for a premium, which would be much less hacky than buying out the market.

Why not guarantee more consumables?

!CLW once char has reached 500'
!CSW once char has reached 1000'
!CCW once char has reached 2500'

Not sure exactly where those cutoffs should be, but probably somewhere around there if you could get what you need to keep going without needing to waste time town-scumming but not be so overpowered that it would make that part of the game trivial.

It stopped working when guaranteed stacks of 40 <items> were introduced; no matter how many clw you buy, theres always 40 available.
You can still buy out the bm

The only ones that count are the alchemist for!Berserk (and to a lesser extent restore life) and the temple for CCW and heroism

Ah. I have never bothered even trying to buy out anything other than the Black Market. Seriously, you need !CCW that badly? Once I get to about dlvl30 I never run out. Mind you, I do carry a stack of rods of curing until I have at least a full stack of 40 !CCW in my possession, so maybe that's it?

Also, I play forced descent, so it's actually in my interest to recall to the town after every level and recall back down to max depth +1. Might as well check the priesty shop for CCW while I'm there! ;-)

Without rConf at dl 90, you go through a lot of the stuff. Now that saving throw is 100, things should be better.

Also if you play light on the rest command you burn through !ccw like no tomorrow. I tend to just keep moving & heal with potions if I need to, works pretty well on any character strong enough to carry large stacks.
