Omens of death at DL 11 arent always a jelly pit

Previous game l lost to nexus breath. Forgot about permanent scramble, then just quit with strength 11. That game had a timd hound at DL 17, along with the Queen ant. This game has a GV at dl 11. 2 ancient dragons and a greater basilisk, and a Neekerbreeker to keep things fair.

When GVs from Chris Atenasio were added in MAngband (very high risk/reward but totally open), it was common to get killed at 250ft by undead beholders and such. Sure that a time hound is not what you expect to encounter at 550ft
