Not that a Nec isn't hard enough to play - but why isn't Bullroarer resistant to nether

He's also a hobbit. I don't think he should resist nether.

It's kinda Tolkien canon that hobbits are resistant to the "dark power" of the ring; maybe OP was referring to that.

IIRC, hobbits (at least, in earlier Angband versions) have innate protection from experience draining; this isn't the same as nether resistance, though.
