Arvedui or Law DSM?

What would you choose? Only extra thing Arvedui adds is Resist Nexus and that's rapidly becoming not a threat as I am maximizing my stats. And I do like the Shard/Sound Ball that you can use to clear pain in the ass monster groups out of the way with. Not to mention knock a unique back a little.

Maybe I'm answering my own question

Aglarang vs Dagmor. No brainer although Dagmor was nice for a while. Hang him on the wall at home.

Arvedui. +2 STR is useful to most characters, not to mention the basic 4 resists can greatly increase your flexibility. Also, just because your stats are maxed doesn't mean that nexus isn't dangerous; it can still teleport you, either to the breather or away across the level or off the level entirely. You only get a save for level-teleport and stat swap.

It becomes a bit more difficult choice if both sound and shard are also without resist. Then it becomes question which is more important sound or nexus. Sound prevents stunning from non-melee sources, nexus makes you immune to teleportation from nexus breaths.

I would keep both and probably use Arvedui, because one bad teleport from nexus can be fatal, while you need to get hit by multiple sources of stunning attacks before that becomes fatal. Just don't trust spells if stunning is possible and carry CCW to cure it.

I still remember one old days death to stunning with high-gear char. Had fire immunity (Narya). Saw DLV with bunch of red "Z" stuck in the corner. Didn't bother to check if they are plasma or fire and stepped on LoS. KO in single round, death follows soon after. Now with more colors that won't happen again, but that did teach me a lesson to be careful around packs that can stun.
