trouble staying logged in

I can't seem to stay logged in worth a damn. Each time I click on a link I'll be logged out. It seems to not be as bad using Konqueror as it is when using firefox (iceweasel, if ya want to be picky. The UI string is set to firefox).

I am using polipo as a http proxy. I'm not sure if that's a factor or not. Here's an awesome tutorial on configuring web servers for use with caches.

I'm guessing it's either related to that or suhosin or a combination of the two.

The obvious thing to try is to run without polipo and see if that changes anything.

I was reading through the news groups and decided to post something there. I was unable to, although the wording states the Forum log on works there, I was unable to post to the newsgroups through oook. However, when I clicked back into the forums I was still logged in.
