Really enjoying Paladin book 3

Book 2 is sort of a let-down, with a healing spell i can't cast, nor afford to cast whenever its fail rate gets down.
But book 3 is great, even with just the first spell at 35% fail. My BoC of Fire is suddenly a weapon to be greatly feared--even vs Ancient Red Dragons, who take 260 damage with 4 blows and no damage ring. Now to find one with and or electric brand... Unlikely, I know, because those types max out just as BoC becomes native. With these spells, branded weapons really never become obsolete. Suddenly a MoD with cold brand is the second best ego weapon for paladins, behind only +2 attacks. Slays undead, *demons*, all evil monsters, and *hydras*.

I've been playing nothing but dwarf paladins lately. They're seriously kickass.

I played Dunadin. I can't stand low DEX of Dwarf, especially with Paladin now at -1 DEX.
