Help please

im not sure this is the right place to post this, but i need some help.. How do I submit an alive character in the ladder, and update it later?

Press "C" in game to get to the character sheet. There you press "f" for file dump, which goes to you Angband user folder. Now you can publish that file just like you published your winner file there. To update the ladder file, just overwrite it with a new file dump.
