Graphical artifact on Over head map

I and Magnate made a bit of a dangerous fix for the flickering over head map bug. I have now for the first time seen a detrimental effect from this fix. For me it's a minor issue, and the fix is still very well worth it, but I thought I should mention it.

Attached is an image of the over head map, just after recalling to town. As you can see on the right, the old dungeon level is still shown. This graphical artifact stayed until I next entered the dungeon.

I bet we can fix this. Could you open a ticket?

Next time you see this, try doing ^R to force a refresh of the screen. That occasionally fixes display glitches. If it does, then it'd be straightforward to have a refresh when the player enters the town.

I've played around a bit with this bug, and have now created ticket #1495, where I describe my findings.

I have no complaint about your findings, but was there a reason they couldn't have been added to the original ticket?

Just doing what I'm told ;-)

As I see it that ticket is solved, this is a new issue. But I agree that one can see this as an extension to the first ticket.

Ooops, sorry - I'd forgotten d_m had said that. Not a big deal anyway - I'm just OCD about trac.
