The Visible monster list, modifications.

Once you get to the point where detecting monsters/invisibles is done before you step off the stairs, the Visible monster list window comes into use a lot. if you're using full screen though, you have to grab your mouse, make it small again to read the list. how about a command to view the monster list in main window; recall monster info from the same list? a similar list of known items on the entire dungeon floor wouldn't be unbalancing.

In 3.0.9, '[' views the monster list in the main screen; you can't look at monster recall from it, though.

Ouch, down to two out of three suggestions, because I didn't read the controls list carefully enough.

I was just thinking about this yesterday, in fact. I'd suggest sorting the monster list by depth, deepest monsters first. That way, for one, you can see at a glance what the toughest monsters on the screen are, and also, if you can't see the whole list, you can see the important parts at the top.

An objects-on-the-ground list might be nice too.
