(Getting slightly off-topic here but)
Oh, I'm not saying that it doesn't make sense. I'm just so accustomed to when the Save-folder was in the Lib-folder, etc. Perhaps I was also unconsciously referring to when I was searching for pref-files and couldn't find them, until I found them inside the Angband application. As you may guess, I am rather new to OSX, and still learning.

Hup. We really need a few more savefiles from 3.2.0, if anyone has them.

All my files are compromised. I might play a little just to get a file (and to test if an issue was present then). I thought you would need savefiles with longer games behind them, does that matter?

No, it doesn't matter at all. Ideally I want a mix of really old savefiles (which were last played in 3.2.0) and brand new savefiles (created in 3.2.0).

Well in that case, here is a savefile created in 3.2 (downloaded just now). Played until clvl 2 and dlvl 2 :-)

Sorry to be be picky, but the correct location is $HOME/Library. $HOME need not be /Users/YourUserName. For me it isn't.
