Two Mage Questions

Hi everyone,

1) As a mage, my first spell book has 2 entries that are "illegible". How or when will I be able to read these?

2) How is failure % on a spell calculated? Does it decrease as I gain levels, INT, or by how often I cast it?

Thanks!

A mage cannot cast these spells, they are for rogues only (treasure detection and detect objects).

The failure rate will decrease with ascending character level and higher intelligence.
