Problem with David Gervais Tiles
Sorry for posting yet another problem so soon!
![]() But I've got 3.1.0 working now. I like to use the 32x32 tiles 'David Gervais' I'm seeing this... ![]() Basically a cloak tile is being used for all unseen areas of the dungeon!! This only happens if I select the 'David Gervais' tileset. It happens on the latest nightly build as well as 3.1.0-beta |

![]() Sorry, I don't use tiles so I can't really help much but I expect it's something that can be fixed by changing a line in a .prf file somewhere. Maybe check out 'interact with visuals'.

Thanks for the tips! and quick replies!
I fiddled with the various "Use special colors for X" options. And fixed it - if I turn off "Use special colors for floor grids" (view_special_lite) the issue goes away. Odd. ![]() I might have a quick scan through the 'graf-dvg.prf' file see if I can spot the problem. I'm not 100% clear on what that option means, but problem solved anyhow. EDIT: Changing line 17 of 'graf-dvg.prf' to "F:0:0x79:0x79" also solves the issue. EDIT 2: Sorry I didn't spot there was an existing topic on this, my apologies. I believe it mentioned elsewhere as well but turning off the special lighting for floor solves this issue as well

@joyrex --
you really don't want to play without view_special_iite--it makes it impossible to know where you've been unless you don't use magic mapping or clairvoyance. The bottom line is: you should follow the recipe for fixing the cloak problem, and hope it's fixed in the next release. |

Put the files in you angband/lib/xtra/graf directory. Then just select them in Options --> Graphics.

They are definitely included in the latest versions 3.0.9 & 3.1.0
But if you are running anything old you will need to download them |
