Quiver inscription bug

Has anyone had the bug recently where:

You wield a bow
You put some arrows in your quiver
You inscribe the arrows with @fX where X is higher than 0

... and the game crashes? It's bug #1753 on the tracker and I'm trying to hunt it down because it's the only really proper crash bug left in 3.5. If anyone has can reproduce it please let me know! Thanks.

Hasn't happened to me in a while, but then again, I think I've trained myself to always inscribe in sequence. So not that helpful, sorry.

I've never had a crash on OS X. I would regularly have common ammo in the first slot or two and then inscribe @f9 for fancy stuff found in the dungeon.
