Notes Patch
I've sometimes seen such "tables" of accomplishments, as in this dump: http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-show.php?id=7597
Can anytone tell me how to get these?

do you mean like this:
a) The Quarterstaff of Olorin (2d9) (+10,+13) (+4) {saruman 2900'} to inscribe an item, use "{" select the item, and type whatever you want. or do you mean the char dump itself? for the char dump, bring up your stat page and hit "f" to file. When you die, it gives you the the same option "f" to create a char dump. then go to the ladder and submit your char. <edit> I just scrolled down further... <quote> Thyme VI the Half-Troll Mage Began the quest to kill Morgoth on 03/12/2008 at 04:33 PM ================================================== ========== CHAR. | TURN | DEPTH |LEVEL| EVENT ================================================== ========== | 17603| 100 | 4 | Killed Fang, Farmer Maggot's dog | 18828| 100 | 5 | Reached level 5 | 68899| Town | 8 | Killed Farmer Maggot <quote> I like that, i've never seen it before. If thats a patch, i want it too!

Yay. I love you.
Does it have a note everytime you reach the next 500' for the first time? Just to document diving speed.

Don't love me, love J.D.White, he wrote the version in V and got it sorted. And no, it doesn't. In practice, it seems to be OK to just record each time character level rises.

I love everyone who ever contributed to (or it's for?) Angband.
Okay.

How stable are the nightly builds? I understand that they say they're not, or something like that, but they should really be okay, right?
I just tried out the newest one, and I really like the history table and the new interface additions. It's looking really good. Plus the Mr. Att icon definitely grew on me. I'm awfully partial to the JRRT monogram, but the icon's pretty catchy. Is there an estimated time for the 3.1 release? |
