Part 3 is up. I think I actually got my fiancee's microphone to work properly this time around. But hopefully the sound is good.

Probably no more updates until Monday evening.

Playing with such a small viewport looks kind of unbearable.

It takes some getting used to. If I had big monitor it wouldn't be a problem.

The halved ranges helps a lot thought with keeping everything manageable.

Part 4 is up. This is the new part 4 since I had to redo some stuff due to video issues.

Very entertaining to watch someone else play

One thing I do differently is that I use more macros and less manual targetting/casting. I rather retreat from a group of monsters when low on mana, rest up, go back and press more F1 than target the middle guy manually and cast a ball spell. It cuts into turncount though if you are bothering about that.

I sometimes care about turn count, however for the videos I care more about trying to do things as quickly as possible. (to the best of my abilities).

I did macro magic missile but I find myself hitting maa just as often as hitting F1 because it's so ingrained.

Because I attempt to keep the videos moving along there will be quite a lot of pausing and restarting the video when I try to take out groups of monsters that involve retreat tactics to keep the tedium level low. I'm not sure if I've done any yet, but upcoming videos will have it.

No recording for me for a week because I'll be at a conference. However, I have about 4 videos on backlog so I should be able to post one every other day.

Trying to upload part 6 using crappy hotel wireless. Figured I'd better get one up tonight before Hurricane Sandy knocks out all the power here (yes, I traveled into a hurricane.)
