This happens sometimes. I'll be really honest.

Suiciding (or, worse, losing interest in characters, and thus implicitly suiciding them) is the only "lose" condition in Frog.

Legitimately "losing" is not a loss, if you grit your teeth, spit, and say, "Well, by God, this time I'm gonna make a really, really, really invincible one."

You got cheated. OK, that Morgul weapon would have been a godsend.

Except, that -2 to devices would have killed you eventually, too.
