Ok. Brighter colors. Let me see what I can do. I think I might need to make a map that ya'll can adjust until we find what we like.

Can you adjust the default gamma value?

So there is a handful of changes I'm doing to mitigate the colors issue that a couple people have noted.
1. I'm changing the background of the website from white to black. This helps the contrast quite a bit. Eventually I'll make it themeable. 2. I'm changed the default font to bold. This update helps the most. 3. The screen isn't spaced out so much so it is easier to see the screen. 4. A settings screen is being created to allow the colors to be changed. There are 31 colors in use. This settings screen will allow us to fine tune the brightness. These updates should be available in the next sprint. (2 weeks) So not really a gamma change ... but dialing up each color will be available soon ... essentially doing the same job. |

I'm logged in. When I click on my last game I last saved a few weeks, I get a black screen. Also, is there a way to get a monospaced font, like Liberation Mono 11 or something?

@HugoVirtuoso ... the black screen means that save game isn't compatible with the latest version ... until I modernize the binary serialization ... saved games will quickly become incompatible. Just start a new game and have a go at it for a while. I'll cover the serialization after I get the UI fully vetted out.
Liberation Mono 11 ... Very interesting ... let me see what I can do. ![]() |

AngbandOS/MySql
I've migrated the AngbandOS fork to work with MySql 5.6. It "should" be cross platform complaint now. Granted, the project still has a WPF project for the original Cthangband, but the AngbandOS Web/Core/MySql primary projects should run on Linux. I have no way of testing this ... @Hugo ... you mentioned you would give it a test?
I haven't put together a "setup" list just yet. But I'll create a README for that. The fork repo is here: https://github.com/marcjohnston/AngbandOS |
