[3.3.0] Those funny little labyrinth levels, bug?

In a rush to get everything done in town so he could get back to fighting things, foolish Boggins (CCCXVII-ish) forgot to stock up on ?word of recall.

On his long on foot journey back up to the town having noticed he wasn't carrying any at dlvl~30, he came across something strange.

Those funny little maze levels which completely fit into one rectangle and often start completely lit, if you are going upstairs and end up in one then it seems to always have two down staircases on it (the one you come up onto, and another one),instead of the normal one up and one down)

I think I saw 3 on my way back up, at all of which the same thing happened, Is this a bug?

Odd thing is that with my near-endgame char that I'm still pondering should I continue at all (too boring char) have not encountered any maze levels at all. Another bug? Or is this artifact of skipping ~50% of levels using deep descent scrolls (from ~1700 to 4000+)?

The funny labyrinth is a feature, the fact that it doesn't appear too often might be a bug ?

I made labyrinths rarer based on previous feedback that they were too common. Once we get good stats about dungeon generation then (hopefully) I can tune them more precisely.

About the staircase bug: sorry! I give you dispensation to use debug mode to work around it if required.

It's not possible that they are only being generated when you go upstairs is it? I don't think I've had any generated when going down stairs, but quite a few when going up. Probably a coincidence.

I'd actually taken a screen shot but forgot about it.

I think you all get what I mean anyway, but there you go.

It would actually be pretty cool if they always had one OOD monster to work your way around (if you couldn't take it on). Maybe just that one monster. The rest of the level blank.

And if you get something wall-passing one you're toast.

Of course not, they also occur when you teleport level or recall, or at least they used to. I posted a screenshot in the other thread about it.
