[3.50] Damage/round missing
There's a very good chance you've heard about this already, but I couldn't find it in the 3.5 thread.
Many of the damage calculations in the item description screen are messed up. Frequently mentions it does 0 damage. I've only seen this issue on ego weapons so far.

Are you wearing any rings or items that have negative modifiers? I believe the negatives are taken into account in the damage calculation that is shown (so you can compare "best weapon to use now"), and if the negative modifier is big enough it can completely cancel out the damage that the weapon could do (particularly early in the game when you don't have inherent strength/dex bonuses).

If that were happening, then when you attack I believe you'd get a message like "You fail to harm the Small Kobold".
