Novice Ranger
I was looking thru the monster file and wonder why some creatures are listed multiple times. I never really looked at the data and some I don't understand.
Is this so some, like novice warrior, have a chance to be tougher when created deeper or something else? |

I think it's because they appear solo early on, but as you go deeper, they appear in groups.

What he said. Some monsters (novice 'p' and gnome mage) have two entries, one as a singleton, and another a few levels deeper as a group, with FRIENDS flag.
