auto_more option

Currently, the auto_more option clears all

prompts automatically; its main use is when the player has a messages subwindow open, and so does not need to see messages on the main screen top line.

There has been a suggestion that with auto_more on, messages should not be displayed on the top line of the main screen at all. What do people who use auto_more think about this?

I think I would hate it if there was no option for subwindows - on a phone. I sure hope never to have to use one of those for Angband, but with hospital stays becoming more and more likely with age, I am not sure. Maybe someone with android experience can comment.

There are two subwindows overlaid by the transparent keyboard. By default one is the monster list; the other is equipment. (I find the latter useless. Messages or items would be better. )

It's a curious ask, to me, would the line somehow be recovered (to what end?) if this was enabled?

I find auto_more dangerous, and don't use it. It's too easy in a busy fight for something to sneak in.

I would like to be able to hit ESC (or something) on any -more- prompt and have it flush the messages to the window. Especially when fighting things like Hydras.
