Ang 4.1.2 problem

I am running across a delay at times in the game. When I open a door, hit a monster there is a delay before the prompt comes up and I can continue. Almost like a lag. That does cause some problems with attacks and movements. Any ideas on what is causing this and how to correct?

Press '=' then 'd'. The base delay factor is by default set at 40ms. You can set that lower.
