Comp 159 is up. It's an xangband whatever-you-want run.

I was loathe to specify a save file for this game because there may be several things that are broken; I ran into this problem when making a save file for unangband, for example, since there's only so far I can play ahead.

GLHF! And good luck to the comp 158 players who still have 10hrs or so to go.

Has anyone found any sort of monster list at all? Not knowing what kind of "weird stuff" might be added I find myself looking around at every monster often, which is a pain.

Small warning for an autosquelch bug (not 100% confirmed, but very likely):

I squelched Rods of Light, and finding another Rod of Lightning Balls also autodestroyed it.

The fact that the pref file says "^rod of light" indicates a rather simple approach to regexes, I haven't tried with "^rod of light$" yet, so no idea if that is supported or not.

Just a heads up.

Possibly not. This variant hasn't been updated in years....
