How do you start from a savefile in entroband x11 mode? I normally play the OSX version, but there isn't one. I moved the save file to:
.../entro-src/lib/save/64

then tried
./entroband -u64 -mx11 -r -- -n3

to get a reasonable setup, or so I thought. It says "64: no such savefile."

Any suggestions, or do I need to source dive?

Nick had posted some instructions for compiling under linux on page 2 of the comp thread, which may be of use in OS X (I understand the systems won't work quite the same way...)

aclocal
autoheader
automake --add-missing
autoconf
./configure --disable-japanese
make
make install

I hope some of that helps. You may have to recompile differently. I was worried about non-Windows users.

But often he, the master yeeks, and the kamikaze yeeks swarm and multiply and there seems to be no good way to get at him by himself in an expeditious manner.

Has anyone uncovered any good strategies for handling the situation?
In case others are still annoyed by Boldor as I am, I've found a good fix - get a wand of stinking cloud and fire it into Boldor's midst. To keep kamikaze yeeks from getting at you, let a brown one stay between you and the rest until you clear out the space around Boldor. Between the stinking cloud and the kamikazes, the master yeeks will die off, and then you'll be able to close range with Boldor without risk - or else, in this time, Boldor will have teleported himself away.
