Compiling on Linux
I like the look of Sil-Q and definitely want to try it out, but I'm having trouble compiling it. I'm running Linux Mint 20 (Ulyana) with very few addons. No internet access at home, so I'm limited to what I can snag on my phone. I'm trying to follow the instructions in compile.txt, but I keep running into a brick wall at the actual compilation step, getting Error 1 due to stdio.h: No such file or directory. Would anyone here know what this is and how I can fix it?
Disclaimer: I am not an expert. I see instructions, I follow them exactly. I see something that's even a little different, I'm lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

From posts elsewhere, it looks like you'll need to get the libc6-dev package (and its dependencies if they aren't already installed) and install it on Linux Mint to have stdio.h installed. Given that stdio.h isn't installed, it's likely that files necessary to compile Sil-q with X11 and curses are likely not there as well, but it's probably best to sort this problem out first before worrying about that.
