How to recover honor in FrogComposband

I am really enjoying FrogComposband, but it is a source of satisfaction to me to do well on the virtues, and therefore I am disturbed to note that I have fallen from the path of honor (I don't know what sleeping monster I killed), and I have no clue how to recover it. What must I do?

Any of the following will improve your Honour: casting Crusade spells, healing a friendly monster, or hasting a friendly monster. If you've used the same savefile on multiple characters, avenging the death of a previous character will also improve your Honour.

The game tells you whenever virtues change, so you could do every action you can think of and observe which actions increase/decrease which virtues

You might not like the methods to improve virtues though
In Tome 2, the only way to improve piety for an Illuvatar worshiper was for games turns to elapse
Th most effective way to do this was to pick up a dragon corpse, become severely overburdened, have your speed reduced to -50, and walk back and forth chewing up game turns

Killing sleeping monsters reduces valour and/or honour
This can be prevented by having aggravation (which introduces new problems)
I wonder if killing fleeing/scared monsters reduces valour and/or honour, if so then not even having aggravation would prevent that, you would have to wait for them to recover
