Ironman priest tips?

And I've found Narthanc and a shortbow of accuracy before DL10!

In Ironman is it preferable to properly clear levels to collect stuff rather than dive like crazy? Main problem so far is ammo, not being able to pop back up and buy 80 arrows is a pain, do you just have to carry different launchers and swap them out when you run out of a specific type of ammo?

Known to be broken functionality. Might be fixed in the latest nightly.

Not broken in 4.0.5, though, IIRC.

It worked straight away when I first tried it on without IDing it, but the second I actually need it to activate, it let me down. Probably just murphy's law.

Ironman priest isn't very different from ordinary priest, except for the need to conserve consumables. Protect PB2, PB4 at all , and carry rods of curing for incidental confusion. (And _Teleport for disaster confusion)

One thing very different from non-ironman: Suddenly scrolls of phase door become crazy valuable. Use them sparingly (for high value uniques and quick exit from vaults when portal is too dangerous. Without ethereal openings, real escapes are few and far between.
Edit: Took until dl68 for current char. Ran out of ?phase 15 levels earlier. Was last book found, after 2(!) Wrath of God. Warrior ironman would be in bad shape. Think I found total of 13 scrolls
