I was wondering why there weren't many updates lately. It does seem like there should be a 4.2.5 release at some point, but I'm happy playing the latest 4.2.4-99, it is working well.

I like the way you've ruined it. The new classes, the new monster list, and rune ID are all excellent improvements to the game.

Let me join in the appreciation post for Nick's work. The ruins of Angband couldn't be in a better state; it is a much more enjoyable game than it was years ago and the improvements are visible.

since you are in a ruiny mood, add a wake monster function to MBan, e.g. any unique that is within range of a mass banishment will immediately wake up.

yep, MBAn is a bit too imbaish stuff.. in my variant I planned to rework it - like make if radius based.. and using it at this radius will wake up monsters in all other places outside of this radius (still thinking). but idea with uniques wake up cool too.

why not, add a 250 standard turns Aggravate flag to thr player per casting. Banishment could use one as well.
