So I spoke very clearly into my iPad in the google search field: "Roguelike key set Angband" and my iPad returned this:

I killed the Witch King of Angmar in my most recent game and he dropped the Bastard Sword of Éowyn, which really would have confused Tolkien. (In LotR, Éowyn kills the Witch King of Angmar, so it's a little weird that he would have her swordâŚ)

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that a Belend aggravates creatures nearby.

the Ring of Belend <+4, +5>
---------------------------
+4 intelligence.
+4 constitution.
+5 speed.

Yeah this is weird even within game logic. Monsters with floor pickup can't take items with slay, so how can they carry them in the first place?

They can pick it up, but its (sticky) cursed for them, so they decide not to. And in the rare case that they do pick it up, it stays with them for the rest of their ....existence.

I was preparing for the endgame battles and wanted to make absolutely sure I could throw a spear using asym LOS. I tried an experiment in town and laughed out loud at the result, poor guy...

Your Spear "Aiglos" (3d6) (+15,+25) [+5] <+2, +4> freezes the singing, happy drunk (1733). It was a good hit!
