I should always take a screenshot when something weird happens.

The thing is there WAS a permawall vault left side of me but I did not need to be in there. I came out from the permawall vault and there was nothing between me and the archlich and dreadlord but few squares of air and few squares of granite. L and G did not approach until I went close enough to them.

I still can't work it out. I've made an issue for it.

When inspecting a Rod of Illumination I only get this

Shouldn't there be information on recharge time and chance of success?

Ditto for Rods of Curing. Also no explanation for what is affected by Rod of Curing anymore.

Interesting. My Rod of Curing seems just fine. Maybe it's not about the rod, but something else.

You have to have used a rod and observed the effect before the description gives the effect.

No. It is a property which is sometimes conferred by a curse, but not in this case.

As you can see, the rod has already been used and identified as the Rod of Illumination. I had used the rod to illuminate a dark room with monsters. What more is needed?
