Just saw a great concert.
That makes two in as many months. The first was Berlioz Symphony Fantastique, which I'd never seen live. This one was Carmina Burana, which I'd also never seen live. What a show!
The first was performed by the Seattle Symphony, who did a great job. The second was semi-pro, so they took the opportunity to ham it up--which is just right for Carmina Burana. The funny parts work much better. They are both some of my favorites. |
