Text formating on the ladder.

Pav, how hard would it be to have the character dump/ladder comments recognize simple text formatting tags, like bold and italics. I'm of the opinion that while not really needed, it might be nice and wouldn't hurt anything.

Buzz, you can already use HTML tags in the comments, like <b> and <i>. It have never been prohibited...

I tried that with [] and it didn't work. After some more testing I've discovered that I need to use the < > brackets rather than the [ ]. Just one more thing now... How do I turn it off? Neither slash or backslash works. Failure to turn off the formatting causes it to bleed into the next comment and indeed the rest of the web page.

You used the wrong kind of slash to close your blocks. I fixed it (after one misfire).

<u>underline</u> can also be useful. <p> is paragraph, but I think paragraphing is done by forum software automatically.

Yep. I figured it out, but thanks for the help any how. I never tinkered with HTML (outside of WYSIWYG). I assumed the ladder it would use the same tags as the forums. Silly wabbit.
