Some Wow items from a 9-9 2800 ft vault

Note that +3 shooting speed is now actually +30% so that's not that "wow" anymore...

+3 shooting speed is very nice to have in a ring, playing a ranger.
However, compared to old shooting speed, +3 shots per turn, this is barely a noticeable bonus ![]() |

b) the Heavy Crossbow 'Arost' (x6) (+13,+21) <+1, +4, +2> Found lying on the floor in a vault at 2400 feet (level 48) +1 strength. +4 infravision. +2 shooting power. +1 light. Cannot be harmed by Acid, Fire. Prevents paralysis. So some of my better ammo did this: 2) 24 Bolts of Flame (1d5) (+18,+14) Branded with fire. Combat info: When fired, hits targets up to 180 feet away. Average damage/round: 466.8 vs creatures not resistant to fire and 311.2 vs. others. 20% chance of breaking upon contact. 3) 24 Seeker Bolts (4d5) (+9,+10) Combat info: When fired, hits targets up to 180 feet away. Average damage/round: 348.7. 20% chance of breaking upon contact. 5) 16 Mithril Bolts (3d5) (+3,+7) Cannot be harmed by Acid. Combat info: When fired, hits targets up to 180 feet away. Average damage/round: 297.1. 20% chance of breaking upon contact. This all became moot when I got hit by nether 3 times on the same turn (the only thing I didn't resist.) But I was being careless so YASD, because my armor gave me overconfidence. |

That sucks, it's literally the only thing your armour doesn't resist. I think I'd have made the same error
