PCB Which Ranger is which?

Casual question, it has always kind of bugged me, what is the difference between a Novice Ranger (p) and a Novice Ranger (p) ??

Since PCB is based on an old Angband version, I'd say one if the single version and the other is the group version.

Thank you! From memory, it does seem the bright green appears singly, like a Robin Hood decoy. Will have to keep an eye open.
