How many rods of TO do you have? When those guys start waking up they'll come at you fast

11 rods of TO. I'm so fast with almost unlimited haste self. I've got a really powerful bow and some good arrows. ESP. Decoy. This vault wasn't even a sweat, even killing the Witch King without a heal.

Nothing mildly interesting about this dungeon except it's 8-2 at 69. I've never seen such a dangerous level at this depth with so little reward... you'd think it's not worth investigating but it's piqued my curiosity.
![]() EDIT: Mystery solved.... needless to say Brave Sir Robin legged it ![]() |

I'm at that stage where I've got such a trove of goodies that a ring of speed +9, a potion of experience feel like junk.
The highlight was a randart Mace of Disruption which deals over 1,000 per round to dragons and demons. I got a ring with so/so buffs but that brands my melee attacks with lightning which I've discovered is one of the best brands in the game, there aren't so many monsters that resist it. |

I love these cell vaults... I call them monster hotels.
![]() ![]() They always have the best treasures (and the scariest uniques) |

Lots of monsters bricked in. "For the love of God, Montressor. For the love of God."
(Credit due: I stole this from a post on rgra, from way back when.) |
