Angband 4.0.4 released

Angband 4.0.4 is now available for Windows, OS X and as source. Rephial will update soon.

Pretty much all bugfixes, although I've called some of them changes to make myself look better.

Note that you can also get compiled versions for Windows and OS X which play the same as 4.0.4 except for including the split of ignore for DSMs and launchers (which has had to be left out of 4.0.4 regular for savefile compatibility with the previous 4.0.x versions).

Changes:

Remove some global variables
Allow ego types to remove flags from base types
Make Potions of Resist Poison also cure poison
Improve pickup of partial stacks
Disturb on first getting the object feeling
Minor code improvements

Bugfixes:

Stop crashes where use of an object destroys the object
Let Windows port accept a filename from the command line again
Speed up inventory/equipment refresh
Let hit to shatter move the player again
Stop autoinscriptions preventing object spoiler generation
Make study indicator work for books on the ground
Stop status effects happening after the player's death
Make randart lights keep the original activations
Make all new randart sets based on the standard artifacts
Stop animations interfering with the target path
Allow group monsters to melee the player in open areas again
Make info for spells like Banish Evil say "power" rather than "dam"

Been away from *banding for too long now. I'm downloading the latest version now to fix that. Can't wait to check it out.

LOL. I just started playing again last night for the first time since 3.5 and I have to upgrade again? ;-)

Seriously though, Thanks for all the hard work on 4.0 folks! And the continued bug fixes. It's a lot more support than most commercial games ever get and that's because you all CARE!

Does that fix not being able to manually target Morgoth with missiles when trying to cheezily kill him while he's walking a long corridor?
