My Ranger finds +3 Movement speed cloak

My Ironman Ranger finds an early rod of TO and +3 Movement speed cloak on DL44.

By DL60 he has 4 rods of TO and and 6 rods of slow monster (so he drops his wand of TO), but still shooting with an x2 (+21, +6) (?enchanted to +8) short bow with +6 shooting speed. Even with this crappy bow he takes down big enemies because he has a good melee weapon and speed and can hit twice, step back, hit twice, step back, hit twice, step back, and not take any damage. Heroic to Legendary stealth means pick fights. Game is trivialized.

When movement speed was talked about early on, I thought it was going to be a weak stat, there as a poor man's speed or a form of =escaping. But combined with a Ranger it's game breaking. I'll post a video soon.

Now my ranger just found a proper launcher: The Long Bow of Teing (X5) (+13, +15) +10 shooting speed +3 Wisdom. Branded with fire. Provides Nether resistance. Activation: Takes up to 250 hitpoints of life from target creature (provided they are living). Makes Belthronding look like a kid's toy.

Now it it's gg. I am tempted to take on Sauron with less than 600 hitpoints.
I have a ring of damage (+14) that I use as a swap with my ring of speed I just found <+10> and I really don't want to drop the ring of damage, but I think I will not be able to justify carrying it now I have a proper endgame launcher.

Will also probably need to drop nice slay triumverate powerfully weapon I just found, as keeping acid immunity and cold immunity swaps probably more important.

It is done. Cantoras was a lot harder than Sauron. Morgoth put up a good fight and I wasn't really properly prepared for him, but I still managed to run around trying to avoid his summons and finish him off, though I got low on arrows at the end.

Why didn't you TO all those high uniques? They were chasing you all over the place.

I was saving my TOs for when I really needed them. I only had 4 and most of the time they were charging.
